Ketu North Breaks Ground for New KG Classroom Block

The Ketu North Municipal Assembly has taken a significant step towards enhancing early childhood education with the sod-cutting ceremony for a two-unit KG classroom block at Dzodze Fiagbedu R.C. School. The project, which includes ancillary facilities, aims to provide a safer and more conducive learning environment for children in the area.
According to the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, investing in early childhood education is crucial for shaping the future of Ketu North and the Volta Region. The construction of the classroom block reflects the shared commitment of stakeholders to deliver quality social infrastructure that supports learning and nurtures young minds.
The project is part of the Municipal Assembly’s broader development agenda to address critical infrastructure gaps in the education sector, particularly in underserved communities. The new classroom block is expected to ease congestion, enhance teaching and learning, and provide a more comfortable environment for pupils and teachers.
The sod-cutting ceremony was attended by the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Edem Agbana, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Rev. Martin Amenaki, and other stakeholders. The event underscores the collaborative effort to improve education in the area.
The Ketu North Municipal Assembly has been working to address infrastructure gaps in the health and education sectors. The construction of the KG classroom block is one of four major infrastructure projects aimed at improving access to quality education and healthcare in the municipality.
The timely completion of the project is expected to significantly improve service delivery and enhance the quality of life of residents in the Ketu North Municipality.
