Prophet Shepherd Bushiri Bags Top Philanthropy Awards
Malawian prophet and humanitarian Shepherd Bushiri has been honored with two prestigious awards for his outstanding philanthropic work. He was named *Best Philanthropist of the Year 2025* at the Zikomo Africa Awards in Tanzania and also received an *Honorary Humanitarian Award* from the MASO Awards.
Bushiri’s charitable efforts, through the Goshen City Trust and Shepherd Bushiri Foundation, have focused on education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation, with over K5.8 billion invested in 2025 alone. He expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying it motivates them to do more impactful work in 2026.
The awards celebrate African talent, leadership, and humanitarian service, highlighting Malawians’ influence on the international stage. Bushiri has also proposed hosting the Zikomo Africa Awards in Malawi next year, at Goshen City, to boost the country’s events and tourism sector.
