The Lord Is My Portion

“The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I will hope in him.” — Lamentations 3:24 ESV

Sunday resets the soul. Before you count money, mandates, or meetings this week, count God. He is enough. He is your portion. A portion is not a piece. It is your inheritance. It is what is set aside for you, untouchable, unbargainable.

When God is your portion, lack cannot lie to you. Fear cannot define you. Comparison cannot trap you. You are fed from Heaven, not headlines. This is why worshippers are restful people. They have already received the greatest gift. All other blessings flow from the Giver.

So today, sit at His table. Let His Word fill you. Let His Spirit steady you. Let His presence be your satisfaction. Enter this new week with a full soul. Because when the Lord is your portion, you do not run on empty.

Prayer:
Father, You are my portion and my delight. Nothing else can satisfy like You. Fill my heart, feed my faith, and fix my eyes on Jesus. Let this week begin and end with You. Amen.
