“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

You were not designed to run on empty. God invites you to rest. This rest is more than sleep. It is
soul rest. It is laying down striving, fear, and self-reliance, and leaning on Christ. “Be still, and
know that I am God” — Psalm 46:10 ESV.

In stillness, you remember who is actually in control. Rest begins with surrender. You bring your burdens, your plans, and your pressure to Jesus. “For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of
Israel, ‘In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength'”
— Isaiah 30:15 ESV.

Trust is where strength returns. Do not confuse busyness with fruitfulness. Pause today. Breathe.
Pray. Sit with God before you run for God. A rested soul carries weight without breaking.

Prayer:
Jesus, I come to You weary. Give me Your rest. Quiet my heart, strengthen my trust, and renew
my strength as I wait on You. Amen.
