Ghanaians Can Now Travel Visa-Free to 54 Countries
Ghana has signed visa waiver agreements with 9 countries in 2025, including Morocco, Algeria, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, Dominica, Serbia, Angola, and Antigua and Barbuda. This brings the total number of countries Ghanaians can travel to without a visa to 54.
Countries with Visa-Free Entry to Ghana:
– *African Countries:* South Africa, Kenya, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Malawi, Mauritius, Seychelles, Namibia, Equatorial Guinea, São Tomé and Príncipe, Morocco, Algeria, Angola
– *Caribbean Countries:* Barbados, Bahamas, Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Grenada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda
– *Asian Countries:* Singapore, India, United Arab Emirates
– *Other Countries:* Malta, Venezuela, Suriname, St Kitts and Nevis, Guyana
Countries with Diplomatic/Official/Service Passports:
– Brazil, Colombia, China, Cuba, Germany, Sudan, Türkiye, Hungary, Iran, Malta, and the United Arab Emirates
Ghanaian passport holders can currently travel to around 67 countries visa-free or with visa-on-arrival, according to the Henley Passport Index ¹ ² ³.
