The Member of Parliament for Hohoe, Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo, has launched the Agric For All Project in Fodome, Hohoe Constituency, with the aim of boosting agricultural productivity in the area. The project involves donating a multipurpose tractor, over 500 bags of fertilizer, and maize and rice seedlings to farmers in Fodome, Gbledi, and Wli.
Addressing the gathering on Saturday 22nd November, 2025, Tsekpo explained that the donated tractor will be used for ploughing at an almost no-cost charge, adding that two more tractors will be added to support farmers. He emphasized the need for non-partisanship in the use of these interventions, highlighting plans to support women’s businesses and establish a women’s development bank.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Prosper Kumi, expressed optimism that the project will lead to a bumper harvest, saying, “These things are very critical to the demands of Agricultural along the Agumatsa areas. We believe we’ll have a bumper harvest in the next season that the people of the Volta Region and Ghana will be happy about”.
Kumi also urged the people to prioritize maintenance of the donated equipment, stating, “I want to prioritize the maintenance issues. They should use them well.”
The MP explained that the project was financed using the MP’s Common Fund, and assured constituents that more initiatives are in the pipeline. He also mentioned that roads assigned to contractors are currently underway and will be completed soon, with Gbi and Alavanyo traditional areas set to benefit in the next phase of distribution.
