NAIMOS arrests 28, destroys 29 chanfangs in Akango raid.
The National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations Secretariat (NAIMOS) carried out a major operation at Akango, targeting illegal mining activities along the river bodies and forest areas.
During the raid, 28 suspected illegal miners were arrested, while 29 chanfang machines and other mining equipment used for illegal operations were destroyed to prevent their reuse.
