Authentic Living

“Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and
blameless before him.” — Ephesians 1:4 ESV

Authentic living is living from who you already are, not pretending to be who you are not. God
did not call you to imitation, He called you to incarnation — Christ in you, lived out through you.
Many people live for applause, but you were made to live from acceptance. “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ” — Galatians 1:10 ESV.

To be authentic is to be whole, integrated, true. No masks, no performance, no double life. Jesus called it abiding. “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” — John 8:31-32 ESV. Authenticity begins when truth sets you free
— free from comparison, free from hiding, free from the fear of being seen. God cannot anoint who you pretend to be. He anoints the real you.

This is the life He died to give you. Not a copy, but a son. Not a performance, but a walk.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new
has come” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV. Authentic living says, this new man is who I am now, and I will live like it. It is reckoning your worth, receiving wholeness, rising in healing, and resting in His embrace, until Christ is formed in you.It is the Spirit who makes this life possible. “Now the Lord
is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” — 2 Corinthians 3:17 ESV. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you stop acting and start abiding. He empowers you to live true, bold, and holy without striving.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for making me new in Christ. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and teach me to live
authentic — free, true, and holy before You. Remove every mask and let the life of Christ be seen in me. Help me to live from who I am in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
