Professor Opoku-Agyemang’s comments come at a time of heightened public discourse over the handling and privacy of the 1,964 Ghanaians recently evacuated from South Africa.

Her call for due process reinforces government’s stance on upholding the rule of law while ensuring that the dignity and rights of citizens are protected.

She urged the public to remain calm and trust state institutions to address the matter thoroughly and fairly.

💬 Howedey Insight: When the Vice President speaks about law taking its course, it signals government wants institutions — not social media pressure — to handle the sensitive evacuation fallout.
