Finishing Strong
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7

It matters how you end, not just how you start. The last day of the month is a call to finish well.
God is not looking for perfect people, but for faithful ones. “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be
steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your
labor is not in vain” — 1 Corinthians 15:58 ESV.
Take stock today. What did God start in you this month? What has He taught you? What will you
carry into August? “Forget what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on
toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” — Philippians 3:13-14 ESV.
Close July with gratitude, repentance, and resolve. Start August with fresh faith. God who began
a good work in you will bring it to completion.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for this month. Help me finish strong in faith. As a new month nears, renew my
strength, refocus my heart, and keep me faithful to the end. Amen.
