Tethered On The Rock

_”For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.” — Psalm 27:5 ESV_
A new month will test your footing. July will bring winds, waves, and shifting ground. But when you are tethered on the Rock, you do not drift. You endure.
To be tethered is to be bound by intention, not accident. It is choosing Christ over chaos, obedience over impulse, and stillness over spiralling. It means your decisions are tied to His Word, your emotions to His peace, and your plans to His timing.
The Rock is not a metaphor. He is refuge. He is elevation. He lifts you above what seeks to bury you. When pressure rises, the tethered soul does not panic. It prays. It does not run from the storm. It rests in the Shelter.
Begin July with your rope secure. Stay connected in prayer, Scripture, and surrender. Let every step be anchored. Because a life tethered on the Rock cannot be swept away.
*Prayer:*
Jesus, my Rock, tether my heart to You this July. When trouble rises, hide me in Your shelter. When fear whispers, lift me higher. I will not be moved. I will abide in You. Amen.
