His Endless Love
“Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.” — Psalm 136:1 WEB
Love is the root we act from. What God did for Hosea with Gomer, for Peter after denial, for the prodigal running home, He will do for us without fail. His loving kindness doesn’t expire when we fail, fade when we’re weak, or retreat when we wander. Scripture set the precedent: He seeks, He forgives, He restores.
Acting on the Word means we receive what His love already provided. If He loved Israel while they were in Egypt, if He loved David after Bathsheba, if He loved Paul after persecution, then His love covers us now. We don’t perform to earn it — we believe it and walk in it. We forgive because we’re forgiven. We show mercy because we’ve received mercy. We love because He first loved us.
His endless love drives out fear, heals wounds, and anchors identity. It’s not a feeling that shifts; it’s a covenant that stands. As we act on that truth, shame loses its voice and sonship rises. The same God who kept covenant with a thousand generations keeps it with us today.
Prayer:
Father, I thank You for Your love that never ends. I act on Your Word, believing what You did for them, You will do for me without fail. Let Your love heal me, hold me, and flow through me to others. Amen.
