GETFund Launches Education Drive in Ho West

The Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, has cut the sod for 17 major educational projects in the Ho West District. According to the Minister, the projects are part of the government’s efforts to expand access to quality education and eliminate infrastructure gaps.
The projects include lecture halls, classroom blocks, dormitories, and teachers’ bungalows, among others. Minister Gunu stated that the GETFund is delivering school infrastructure across the country, completing abandoned projects and initiating new ones.
Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, Member of Parliament for Ho West, thanked former President John Dramani Mahama for investing in education. He assured that the double-track system in AWUSCO should end by next year.
The District Chief Executive for Ho West, Hon. Francis Profer Dusey, also expressed gratitude for the projects. The initiatives are expected to significantly improve teaching and learning conditions in the district.
The projects are a testament to the government’s commitment to education. The community has welcomed the development, citing the need for improved infrastructure.
The completion of these projects will go a long way in enhancing the quality of education in the Ho West District.
