Dr. Edmund Arthur, a respected Ghanaian doctor and media personality, has reportedly passed away. As the CEO of Balm of Gilead Alternative Clinic, Dr. Arthur was a well-known figure in Ghana’s healthcare sector, advocating for holistic health and wellness.

 

Dr. Arthur was a strong advocate for alternative healthcare solutions, offering therapies and treatments alongside conventional medical practices. His clinic, Balm of Gilead, was dedicated to providing accessible healthcare services to the community.

 

A cancer survivor himself, Dr. Arthur was passionate about cancer advocacy and holistic healing. He worked closely with the oncology unit at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and was the founder of the Neda Soul Cancer Foundation.

 

Dr. Arthur’s expertise spanned multiple disciplines, including food science, nutrition, dietetics, clinical counselling, and herbal medicine. He was a sought-after voice on television and radio, sharing his knowledge on health and wellness.

 

He received the 2025 Most Outstanding in Healthcare Services award at the Corporate Leadership Excellence Awards, recognizing his contributions to healthcare delivery and personal triumph over cancer. His legacy will be remembered through his impactful work in healthcare and media.
