Speaking after his vetting, Comrade Agbavitor said going unopposed is a clear sign of the confidence reposed in him by the rank and file of the party in the region. “Going unopposed is a sign of confidence reposed in me,” he stated. “It shows that our comrades appreciate the work we have done and trust us to lead again. I am humbled and grateful.”
“All aspirants, from constituency to regional level, should be measured in their speech during electioneering,” he advised. “We are one family, we are NDC. After the elections, we must come together to work for victory in 2028, so let us not say things that will divide us.”
“I encourage the grassroots to keep faith with the party, especially those needing jobs,” he said. “The NDC is a party that rewards loyalty and hard work. Keep believing, keep working, your time will come. We are working to ensure opportunities reach everyone when we secure victory in 2028.”
