Aspiring Deputy Volta Regional Women Organizer, Sheba Happy Aloryito, has declared that she is coming into the race as a mother for everyone in the National Democratic Congress (NDC). According to her, her leadership will be anchored on love, unity and motherly care for all women in the party.
Speaking after a successful vetting exercise in Ho, Ms. Aloryito said women are the backbone of the NDC and deserve a leader who listens. “I come as a mother for everyone,” she stated. “Whether you are young or old, whether you are at the branch, constituency or regional level, I will be a mother to you and ensure no woman is left behind.”
Ms. Aloryito, who is well-known for her grassroots mobilization and compassion, said her motherly approach will help reconcile differences and strengthen the Women’s Wing in the Volta Region. She emphasised that unity among women will be her topmost priority.
“A mother does not discriminate among her children. I will embrace everyone and work with everyone to make Volta NDC women stronger for victory in 2028,” she assured. She further appealed to delegates to make her vision a reality at the polls.
