Daddy Lumba’s Children Deny Rift with Mother Akosua Serwaa

 

 

The children of the late Ghanaian highlife legend Daddy Lumba have moved to quash rumors of a family feud with their mother Akosua Serwaa, stating categorically that they are not fighting her and have no issues.

 

According to a press statement released by the children, Calvin, Charlyn, and Ciara Fosuh, the claims of a rift with their mother are “false, malicious, and deeply misleading”. The statement emphasized that their relationship with their mother remains strong, loving, and unbreakable.

 

The clarification comes amid ongoing legal battles between Akosua Serwaa and the family of Daddy Lumba over his funeral arrangements and inheritance. Akosua Serwaa had filed a lawsuit against her husband’s family head, Kofi Owusu, and his Ghana-based wife, Odo Broni, seeking to be declared the only legal surviving spouse of Daddy Lumba.

 

The children expressed concern over unfounded accusations directed at individuals, including businessman Kenpong, who has been accused of having ulterior motives for supporting their mother. They described these allegations as “reckless and unfair, particularly during a sensitive period for the family”.
