Suspended Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has declared he is 200% sure that he will be exonerated in his alleged involvement in the World Cup visa scheme. He made the bold statement in response to allegations linking his office to irregularities in visa processing for the tournament.
Speaking to SportyFM, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah insisted he has no hand in any visa fraud and that his record at the NSA speaks for itself. He said he is ready to cooperate fully with any investigation to clear his name and restore his reputation.
According to the suspended NSA boss, the World Cup visa scheme allegations are being misrepresented and his role has been misconstrued. He argued that visa facilitation for supporters falls within broader inter-agency arrangements and not sole control of the NSA, hence it is unfair to single him out.
Yaw Ampofo Ankrah stated, “I’m 200% sure that I’ll be exonerated,” expressing confidence that due process will vindicate him. He urged the public to remain calm and allow investigations to proceed without prejudice.
