Ho Central MP Launches Open Door Policy

The Member of Parliament for Ho Central, Hon. Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has kicked off an open door policy, inviting constituents to meet with him every Monday to discuss ways to boost community progress. According to Volta Online, the initiative aims to bridge the gap between the MP and his constituents, ensuring effective administration and governance.

Hon. Kpotosu emphasized that his office, located in the SG-SSB building in Ho, will serve as a hub for assisting constituents with documentation, facilitating access to social services, and providing updates on legislative matters. He reaffirmed his commitment to listening to the concerns of the people and working towards meaningful change.

The MP’s efforts have been praised by Torgbe Ayim Adzokoto II, Paramount Chief of Takla, who lauded Hon. Kpotosu’s dedication to service, stating that a Member of Parliament should be a driver of development. Hon. James Gunu, the Volta Regional Minister, also commended the MP’s visionary leadership and urged constituents to make full use of the office.

In the past year, Hon. Kpotosu has implemented various development interventions across health, education, agriculture, and social welfare. He has distributed weedicides and cocoa seedlings to farmers, provided medical equipment to health centers, and supported youth employment initiatives.

The open door policy is expected to strengthen the bond between the MP and his constituents, promoting transparency, accountability, and effective representation. As Hon. Kpotosu expressed optimism, bringing the office closer to the people will pave the way for a brighter future for the constituency.
