Unity, Loyalty and Wise Choices for a Stronger NDC: Ahiafor

In every great political movement, there comes a moment when the people must decide whether they want progress or division, unity or confusion, growth or selfishness. Today, that moment stands before the great grassroots family of the NDC.
The strength of the NDC has never been in money, noise, or intimidation. The real strength of our party has always been the ordinary branch executive, the polling station officer, the market woman, the youth organizer, the party foot soldier, and every loyal supporter who sacrifices daily for the survival of the party.
As we approach these internal elections, we must remember one important truth: elections within the party are not wars. They are opportunities to reorganize, rebuild trust, and strengthen our unity for the bigger national battle ahead.
When brothers fight brothers, and sisters fight sisters, our opponents celebrate. But when we stand together in peace and respect, the NDC becomes unbeatable.
This election should not divide our branches, constituencies, and communities. Instead, it must bring us together stronger than before. After every election, we will still remain one family under one umbrella.
Delegates and grassroots members must therefore vote wisely — not based on insults, fear, gifts, favoritism, or empty promises. Vote for leaders who truly care about the welfare of the people. Vote for men and women who listen to the grassroots, who are accessible, accountable, respectful, and committed to the growth of the party.
A true leader is not someone who appears only during elections. A true leader is one who stands with the people during difficult times, supports the branches, encourages unity, and works for the collective interest of everyone.
The future of the NDC depends on the choices we make today. If we choose selfish leadership, the party suffers. But if we choose servant leadership, the party grows stronger and victory becomes possible.
Let us therefore reject hatred, gossip, division, and bitterness. Let us embrace peace, maturity, and togetherness. Let us campaign with ideas and not insults. Let us respect one another before, during, and after the elections.
At the end of the day, no matter who wins, the ultimate winner must be the NDC and the people we serve.
Together, with unity, wisdom, and love for the grassroots, we can build a stronger party that truly represents the hopes and dreams of the ordinary Ghanaian.
Forward ever, backward never.
Long live the NDC.
Long live the grassroots.
Long live unity and progress.
