Ziga to contest Ho Central Communication Officer Role

A long-serving member of the National Democratic Congress in Ho Central, Cherubin Kofi Ziga, has formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Communication Officer.
In a statement issued on 29th August, 2026, Mr. Ziga said his decision was driven by humility, respect and a strong sense of duty to the party.
The aspirant previously contested for the same position and says his commitment to effective communication, grassroots mobilisation and defence of the ideals of the NDC remains firm.
He brings to the contest 30 years of service as a Branch Executive in the constituency, experience as a member of the Volta Regional NDC Communication Team, and leadership as the current Assembly Member for the Ho Dome Wusu Electoral Area, a role he assumed in January 2024.
Mr. Ziga said his years of service have equipped him with the knowledge and confidence needed to strengthen the party’s communication machinery and project its policies with facts and discipline.
He noted that his vision is to build a vibrant communication architecture that will connect the party leadership to the branches and ensure that the NDC’s message is heard clearly across all communities in Ho Central.
He has therefore appealed to delegates to support his candidature in the constituency elections scheduled for October 2026, expressing optimism that unity and truthful communication will secure greater victories for the party.
