Aspiring Volta Regional Women Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Madam Delphia Fafa Agbai, has declared her commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory leadership, stating that she believes in fair treatment for both the young and the old.

Speaking to the media after successfully going through vetting on Saturday, 17th October, 2026, Madam Agbai said her leadership philosophy is anchored on unity, equity and service to all women across the region.

“I do not discriminate. I believe in fair treatment for both young and old,” she stressed.

Recounting her track record, the aspirant noted that she has visited every constituency in the Volta Region to organise women for electoral victory in 2024, a feat she says she has accomplished twice and is seeking to build upon for a third time.

She disclosed that over the years, she has undertaken several charitable and party-support initiatives, including donations to the Kpando Prisons, distribution of fertiliser to women organisers across all constituencies, food support to communities in Aveyime and Gbi from 2013 to 2019, and logistical support to chiefs and assembly members to aid grassroots mobilisation.

Madam Agbai further revealed that she has supported three individuals to undergo critical medical operations as part of her humanitarian work.

She maintained that her experience, generosity and inclusive leadership style position her as the right candidate to lead the women’s wing of the NDC in the Volta Region ahead of the 2028 general elections.

💬 Howedey Insight: The Volta Regional NDC is expected to hold its executive elections soon, with the Women Organizer contest emerging as one of the most keenly watched races.
