Kpotosu Donates Maths Sets to BECE Candidates

The Ho Central Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Richmond Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has demonstrated his commitment to the education of the youth in his constituency by donating mathematical sets to all 3,500 BECE candidates in both public and private schools. The gesture was aimed at motivating the students as they prepare for their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The donation, which took place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, was met with appreciation from the students and school authorities. The Headmistress of Sodode Gborgame M/A JHS A, Madam Sylvia Venyo, expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am full of appreciation to the MP for equipping the BECE candidates to excel in their examinations for the betterment of their future and society.”

Hon. Kpotosu, in his address, urged the students to take good care of themselves and make the most of the opportunity. “I want all the students preparing for the BECE to know that there’s someone thinking about them,” he said, adding that they should do independent work and avoid cheating.

The project, which cost One Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis, was fully funded by the Office of the Member of Parliament. This gesture underscores Hon. Kpotosu’s dedication to supporting education in his constituency and Ghana as a whole.

The donation has boosted the morale of the BECE candidates, who are now more confident about their performance in the upcoming examinations.
