GFA And Carlos Queiroz Mutually Terminate Black Stars Deal

Following discussions held in the spirit of respect, the Ghana Football Association and I have mutually agreed to terminate my role as Head Coach of Ghana’s Black Stars, Carlos Queiroz has announced.
The experienced Portuguese tactician made the disclosure via a statement, bringing an end to his short stint with the senior national team. The decision was described as mutual after respectful engagements between both parties.
Carlos Queiroz, who has coached several top national teams including Portugal, Iran and Egypt, was expected to lead the Black Stars into a new era. However, both the GFA and the coach have decided to part ways amicably.
The Ghana Football Association is yet to release an official statement detailing the next steps regarding the vacant Black Stars coaching position. Fans are already speculating about potential replacements to lead Ghana’s flagship football team.
According to EIB Sports, Starr FM and GHOne News, the termination was done in good faith. Queiroz expressed gratitude to the GFA and Ghanaian football fans for the opportunity to serve.
The Black Stars will now be in search of a new head coach as preparations continue for upcoming international assignments. The GFA is expected to announce interim arrangements in the coming days.
