Infilling of the Spirit

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;” — Ephesians 5:18

We have talked about staying aglow, living rich, loving thick, and living top layer, but none of it is
possible without the infilling of the Spirit. The Christian life is not lived by trying, it is lived by
filling. You were shaken to shine, but you stay full to remain. “But ye shall receive power, after
that the Holy Ghost is come upon you” — Acts 1:8 KJV.

Infilling is not a one-time event, it is a daily rhythm. The early church was filled again and again.
“And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness” —
Acts 4:31 KJV. They had been filled before, yet they were filled again. You leak, so you must be
refilled. You face life, so you must be refueled. Daily centering is daily filling. Quiet resilience is
Spirit dependence.

Without infilling, you run empty — empty words, empty patience, empty love. With infilling, you
overflow — with peace that is thick, joy that is rich, and power that is unshaken. “That he would
grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the
inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith” — Ephesians 3:16-17 KJV. When the
Spirit fills you, Christ settles, and glory stays aglow.

Do not live on yesterday’s filling. Come daily. Open your heart. Lift your hands. Speak in the Spirit,
sing in the Spirit, pray in the Spirit. “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this spake he of the Spirit” — John 7:38-39 KJV. Let the
rivers flow again today.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit. I open my heart now and ask to be filled afresh.
Fill me until I overflow. Let Your Spirit strengthen me inside, empower my assignment, and keep
me aglow with Your glory. Let rivers of living water flow from me today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
