Ablakwa Spreads Christmas Cheer to Widows in North Tongu

 

Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu, spent his Boxing Day spreading joy to widows in his constituency. The MP showed his appreciation for their resilience by gifting them with essential food items and household goods.

The generous donations included rice, cooking oil, milk, milo, canned fish, biscuits, assorted soft drinks, wax print fabrics, blenders, and electric irons. The widows were visibly touched by the thoughtful gestures, which brought smiles to their faces.

 

In a social media post, Hon. Ablakwa expressed his love and support for the widows and the aged, saying, “God bless all widows and the aged — you occupy a special place in our hearts.” This gesture is part of his broader commitment to social protection and community support, particularly for vulnerable groups.
