NPP’s Dennis Miracles Aboagye Tells NDC Members to ‘Rest’ Over ORAL Concerns

A prominent member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has advised National Democratic Congress (NDC) members to take some blood pressure medication and rest, saying the ORAL campaign message was just a slogan and not a policy promise made by the NPP. The comment comes amid growing concerns among some Ghanaians over the ruling party’s policies.

According to Dennis Miracles Aboagye, speaking on Assafuah FM 92.7, NDC members’ concerns about ORAL are unwarranted and that it was simply a campaign tool used by the NDC. “If you are an NDC member stressed over ORAL, find some BP medications and rest. ORAL was a campaign message for votes and nothing else,” he said.

The comment has sparked a heated debate, with some NDC members calling for Aboagye to apologize for his remarks. However, others have rallied behind him, arguing that he was simply speaking the truth about the NDC’s campaign promises.

The ORAL policy, which stands for One Region, One Agenda, and One Leader, was a key campaign promise made by the NDC during the 2020 elections.

Aboagye’s comments are likely to reignite the debate over the NDC’s campaign promises and the NPP’s stance on the issue.

The NPP and NDC have been exchanging blows over various issues, and this latest controversy is unlikely to ease tensions.
