The Ghana Police Service has undertaken a show of force and route march in the Ayawaso East Constituency ahead of the upcoming by-election, demonstrating its commitment to maintaining peace and security in the area. The exercise, which saw a strong deployment of police personnel drawn from various units, was designed to reassure residents, deter potential troublemakers, and showcase the service’s readiness to respond swiftly to any security threat.
According to Prime News Ghana, the police operation was part of heightened security measures aimed at ensuring peace, security, law, and order before, during, and after the polls.
