I Remain Fully Committed To Protecting Ghanaians: Ablakwa
Despite Vilification I Remain Fully Committed To Protecting Ghanaians

Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has said despite the vilification, he remains fully committed to protecting the welfare, dignity, and rights of Ghanaians, and will not be discouraged.
Speaking to the Ghanaian community in Ottawa, Canada during an official working visit, Mr Ablakwa dismissed claims that some Ghanaians evacuated from South Africa received less than the announced GH¢5,500 support package. He insisted that all 1,000 evacuees, including minors, received the full amount comprising GH¢5,000 in reintegration support and GH¢500 for transportation, and that the Ministry has not received a single complaint over four months.
💬 Howedey Insight: The Minister described the package as unprecedented in Ghana’s evacuation exercises and said the criticism will not stop him from stepping in to rescue Ghanaians in distress abroad.
