Mahama Cuts Sod For 1238 Acre Afienya Industrial Park

The Afienya Industrial Park is designed to provide world-class infrastructure for light and heavy manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and agro-processing. Government sources say the park will host factories, industrial sheds, access roads, power, water and digital connectivity to enable 24-hour production in line with the 24-Hour Economy policy.
The project is expected to attract both local and foreign direct investment, with special incentives for investors in agro-processing, garment manufacturing, automotive assembly and building materials. The park will also be linked to the Tema Motorway and the proposed railway network to ease transportation of raw materials and finished goods.
Stakeholders in the private sector have welcomed the initiative, describing it as a bold step towards job creation and economic transformation. The first phase of the park is expected to be completed within 18 months, with investors already expressing interest in securing spaces.
