Ghana’s Mourns: Beverly Afaglo Gets Final Send-Off

Family, friends, colleagues and scores of admirers will gather at the forecourt of the State House in Accra on Saturday, August 8, to give a final farewell to actress and entrepreneur Beverly Afaglo Baah, whose death left a deep void in Ghana’s creative arts industry. The funeral service, scheduled for 7:00 a.m., will serve as a moment of reflection and remembrance as mourners celebrate the life of a woman whose career, personality and entrepreneurial spirit earned her admiration far beyond the entertainment circles.

Members of the film industry, creative arts stakeholders, close associates and fans are expected to converge at the ceremony to honour Beverly’s contributions to Ghanaian cinema and the many lives she impacted throughout her journey.
