Turkey Berries Project Controversy Deepens

Malik Basintale, the initiator of the Turkey Berries project, has dismissed claims that the project is a scam, saying it is a legitimate venture aimed at empowering local farmers. The project, which has been shrouded in controversy, involves the cultivation of turkey berries, a crop with high market demand.

According to Malik Basintale, the project is being implemented in phases, with the first phase focusing on the cultivation of 100 acres of land. He emphasized that the project is not a get-rich-quick scheme, but a sustainable initiative aimed at improving the lives of local farmers.

The controversy surrounding the project centers on allegations of mismanagement of funds, with some investors claiming they have not received returns on their investments. Malik Basintale denied these allegations, saying the project is transparent and accountable.

“We are committed to ensuring that our investors receive their returns, and we are working hard to ensure the success of the project,” Malik Basintale said in an interview. He added that the project has created employment opportunities for many Ghanaians and is contributing to the country’s economic growth.

The Turkey Berries project has been touted as a game-changer for Ghana’s agricultural sector, with the potential to create thousands of jobs and generate significant revenue.
