NDC Orders Aspirants Remove Oversized Posters Within Five Days

—
The directive, contained in a circular signed by General Secretary Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey on Friday, October 9, 2026, said the party has observed indiscriminate mounting of oversized billboards, posters and banners in constituencies across the country, contrary to approved guidelines. The NDC said all posters must not exceed standard A2 size and must be placed only at approved party offices and notice boards.
All aspirants who have mounted oversized posters and banners along major streets, markets and public buildings have been given five days to remove them or face sanctions, including disqualification. Regional and constituency executives have been tasked to enforce the directive and submit compliance reports to the National Secretariat by Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
Political analysts say the move by the NDC is timely, as many aspirants have already flooded constituencies with giant billboards for the 2028 internal contests, months before the official campaign period. The party says failure to comply within five days will lead to removal by taskforces and costs surcharged to offending aspirants.
