Speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo and later on UTV Ghana, Chairman John Boadu said Kennedy Agyapong remains a critical asset and crowd-puller for the NPP, and his support base cannot be ignored if the party wants to win the 2028 general elections. He described reconciliation with the outspoken businessman-politician as a top priority of his chairmanship.
Political observers say reconciling with Kennedy Agyapong is crucial, as his populist appeal among the youth and market women helped the NPP expand its base. Boadu stressed that unity is not optional but necessary, and promised to use dialogue, respect and inclusion to mend fences with all aggrieved stalwarts, including Kennedy Agyapong.
Chairman Boadu said his administration will be inclusive and will not sideline anyone who contested or supported other candidates. He urged party elders and youth leaders to join the reconciliation drive to present a united front to Ghanaians as the NPP begins its rebuilding process toward recapturing power.
