Sam George Wants Black Stars Disbanded For 2 Years

Minister for Communications Sam George has called for the disbandment of the Black Stars and dissolution of the Ghana Football Association while Ghana serves a 2-year ban from FIFA to properly rebuild the national team.
The outspoken minister made the bold proposal amid growing frustration over the poor performance of the senior national team. He insists Ghana should accept a FIFA ban for two years and use the period to restructure football from the grassroots.
Sam George argues that dissolving the GFA and disbanding the Black Stars would allow Ghana to reset and build a competitive team, even if it means FIFA bans the country for two years. His comments have sparked heated debate among football fans.
The Communications Minister believes the current structure has failed to deliver results and that only a complete overhaul can restore Ghana’s football glory. He wants authorities to take drastic measures rather than cosmetic changes.
Supporters of the national team remain divided, with some backing the radical rebuild proposal while others fear the consequences of a two year international ban on Ghana football development and sponsorship.
