Ahiafor Unveils Social Contract To Rebuild Ho Central
Hon. Richard Ahiafor has formally presented his Working Document and Manifesto for the Ho Central Constituency, positioning his chairmanship bid around grassroots consensus, institutional accountability and inclusive development.
Addressing the Council of Elders, delegates and party stakeholders, Ahiafor described the document as the outcome of extensive consultations across every electoral area. He framed it as a direct reflection of the aspirations and material needs articulated by constituents during months of engagement. The manifesto is being advanced as a Social Contract, intended to bind leadership to measurable commitments.
“This document faithfully reflects the collective vision, authentic needs, and core priorities of the Ho Central Constituency,” Ahiafor stated.
The framework prioritizes sustainable development, party unity and economic empowerment through decentralized structures and transparent resource allocation. He emphasized that policy would be executed under the guiding principle of Serving All, Leaving No One Behind.
In a first for the constituency, the document is expected to be made public on Monday, 17th August, 2026. Party officials describe the open publication as a novelty that will allow branches, community groups and the electorate to scrutinize pledges and track implementation. The move is intended to deepen transparency and shift political engagement from closed-door promises to documented obligations.
The manifesto outlines a roadmap centered on equitable leadership and participatory governance. Key pillars include strengthening branch organization, expanding livelihood opportunities for youth and women, and institutionalizing feedback mechanisms between the constituency executive and the electorate. Ahiafor stressed that every community and every branch must be treated as integral to the constituency’s growth trajectory, rejecting politics of exclusion or patronage.
With public release imminent, attention now turns to adoption and execution. Delegates will be expected to use the Social Contract as a benchmark for accountability, while the aspirant must demonstrate capacity to translate pledges into tangible outcomes. For Ho Central, the test will be whether this contract translates into unity, prosperity and renewed confidence in party structures.
