Health Setback Forces Kwesi Arthur To Postpone Tour

Ghanaian rapper and singer Kwesi Arthur has announced the postponement of the North American leg of his Redemption Valley tour after revealing that he is dealing with a health condition that requires him to step away from performing temporarily.

In a heartfelt message addressed to his fans, the award-winning musician said the decision was one of the most difficult he has had to make, explaining that his doctors had advised against continuing with the tour at this time.

Kwesi Arthur disclosed that despite doing everything possible to stay on schedule, medical advice made it clear that proceeding with the performances would pose a serious risk to his health. He therefore opted to prioritize his recovery to ensure he can return to the stage at full strength.

The postponed shows include the tour’s scheduled stops in Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. However, he confirmed that the London concert will go ahead as planned, expressing excitement about performing for fans in the United Kingdom.

The musician assured ticket holders that new dates for the North American shows are already being arranged and that all existing tickets will remain valid once the rescheduled dates are announced. He added that refund details would be provided for patrons who are unable to attend the new dates.

Reflecting on the success of the Redemption Valley tour, Kwesi Arthur thanked fans for making the experience memorable and said their unwavering support had meant more to him than words could express.

During this critical time in the artist’s life, patience and understanding is needed to aid his recovery and help put things in order. He promised to return stronger and deliver the performances his audience deserve.

The announcement has been met with an outpouring of goodwill from fans, many of whom have taken to social media to wish the artiste a speedy recovery while expressing anticipation for his eventual return to the stage.
