President Mahama welcomes UAE delegates
Efforts deepen to improve bilateral relations and expand investment opportunities between Ghana and the United Arab Emirates as President John Dramani welcomed a high level delegation from the United Arab Emirates UAE led by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting focused on enhancing economic cooperation between Ghana and the UAE, with particular emphasis on attracting increased investment into Ghana’s energy sector. The discussions also explored other areas of mutual interest aimed at promoting sustainable economic growth and development.
President Mahama reiterated Ghana’s commitment to strengthening its longstanding partnership with the UAE. Both parties however expressed a shared determination to build on existing ties through greater collaboration, trade, and strategic investments.
The engagement reinforces the strong diplomatic relationship between Ghana and the UAE over the years and reflects widely the two countries’ commitment to fostering partnerships that support economic development and mutual prosperity.
The UAE visit to the country is expected to cause economic recovery to spiral particularly in the energy sector.
