Oheneba Ama Somuah is a Level 300 student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with Finance at the University of Cape Coast (UCC). Known for her passion for leadership, advocacy, and student development, she continues to distinguish herself as a young woman committed to making meaningful contributions to campus life and society at large.

With a strong interest in economics, finance, and public service, Ama Somuah has consistently demonstrated a desire to empower others through active engagement and leadership. Beyond academics, she is an accomplished writer who believes in the power of communication as a tool for education, advocacy, and social change.

Her dedication to student leadership has inspired her decision to contest for the position of Women’s Commissioner of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN-UCC). She envisions a student community where every young woman is empowered, represented, and equipped with the confidence and opportunities needed to thrive both academically and personally.
