Volta Dignitaries Mourn NDC Stalwart’s Wife

Dignitaries from across the Volta Region converged at Ho Jubilee Park to pay their final respects to the late Madam Patience Esi Gemegah-Tsikudo, wife of South Tongu NDC Chairman Michael Tsikudo. According to Richmond Edem Kofi Kpotosu, Member of Parliament for Ho Central, the gathering served as both a solemn farewell and a demonstration of communal solidarity in the face of bereavement.
Kpotosu disclosed that he stood alongside the bereaved family, party executives, and well-wishers during the funeral ceremony. The event drew prominent political figures, including Volta Regional Minister James Gunu, Ho Central Municipal Chief Executive Stephen Adom, and Volta Regional NDC Chairman Mawutor Agbavitor. Municipal and district chief executives from across the region were also present to honor the deceased.
In his tribute, Kpotosu described Madam Gemegah-Tsikudo as a woman whose grace and kindness left an indelible mark on those who knew her. Speaking on behalf of the people of Ho Central Constituency and the broader Volta Region, he extended condolences to Mr. Tsikudo and the family, expressing hope that cherished memories would provide comfort during their period of mourning.
The presence of high-ranking regional and municipal officials underscored the stature of the Tsikudo family within the National Democratic Congress in the Volta Region.
