Robbery Gang Busted, Triple Murder Suspects Caught
Police have arrested three suspected members of a robbery gang in a dawn raid near Obuasi, recovering a pump-action gun, ammunition, and ₵20,000. Two of the suspects are linked to the 2025 triple murder at Breme in the Bono Region, according to GHOne News.
The operation is said to be part of an ongoing effort to clamp down on criminal activities in the region. The police recovered the incriminating items during a search of the suspects’ hideout.
Details of the arrest indicate that the suspects had been on the police radar for some time, with intelligence suggesting they were involved in several robbery cases. The recovered gun and ammunition are being examined by ballistic experts.
