Adaklu Traditional Council Gets New Home: Symbol of Unity and Progress

 

 

The Adaklu Traditional Council in the Volta Region has received a major boost with the completion of its new council building, officially handed over by government officials. According to Hon. James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, the facility represents hope, unity, and the authority of tradition, and is a testament to the government’s commitment to collaborating with traditional authorities to deepen development.

 

The new building is expected to enhance the council’s operations and provide a conducive environment for traditional leaders to conduct their affairs. Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, emphasized the importance of traditional councils in promoting peace and development in their communities.

 

The Adaklu Traditional Council is one of the most peaceful districts in the Volta Region, and the new building is seen as a symbol of the community’s progress and unity. Togbega Gbogbi Atsa V, Paramount Chief of Adaklu, expressed gratitude to the government for the facility and pledged the council’s continued support for development initiatives.

 

The government has been working to strengthen traditional institutions and promote development in rural areas. According to reports, the Adaklu Traditional Council has been a key partner in promoting peace and stability in the region.

 

The handover ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza, MP for Adaklu, and Hon. Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, Deputy Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs. The event highlighted the government’s commitment to working with traditional authorities to drive development.
