Ho Central Constituency Launches Major Development Projects

 

The Ho Central Constituency is set to witness significant improvements in education, healthcare, and water access, following the sod-cutting ceremony for several development projects at Kpenoe yesterday. Hon. Edem Kofi Kpotosu, MP for Ho Central Constituency, led the ceremony, marking the start of construction on classroom blocks, nurses’ quarters, CHPS compounds, and 32 boreholes.

 

According to Hon. Kpotosu, these projects are part of his efforts to deliver tangible benefits to his constituents. “The commencement of these projects is a testament to our commitment to improving the lives of the people of Ho Central,” he stated. The MP emphasized that the projects would address pressing needs in the community, including inadequate educational facilities and limited access to healthcare services.

 

The projects are expected to be completed within six months, and Hon. Kpotosu has urged the contractor to expedite action on the timelines and ensure accountability for funds deployed. “I want to assure the people of Kpenoe and the entire Ho Central Constituency that we will ensure these projects are completed on time and to the highest standards,” he said.

 

According to the Ho Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Stephen Adom, the projects are funded by the District Assembly Common Fund. He pledged the judicious and accountable use of the resources for the designated projects without fail. “We assure the people of Ho Central that these funds will be used efficiently and effectively to deliver quality projects,” he stated.

 

Torgbui Abima of Hordzo who spoke the media welcomed the project, encouraging the community to take good care of these initiatives. “These projects are a blessing to our community, and we must protect and maintain them for future generations,” he stated.

 

The sod-cutting ceremony is a significant milestone in the constituency’s development journey, and residents are eagerly awaiting the completion of these projects.
