Afenyo-Markin Donates ₵100,000 to Support Traditional Council Building in Akatsi
Afenyo-Markin, the Minority Leader and MP for Efutu, has donated ₵100,000 to support the construction of the Avenor Traditional Council building in Akatsi, Volta Region. This generous contribution aims to enhance traditional administration and promote unity and development in the area
The donation was made during a meeting with the Avenor Traditional Council, where Afenyo-Markin emphasized the crucial role traditional authorities play in governance, conflict resolution, and community development. He stressed that investing in traditional institutions preserves cultural heritage and strengthens local leadership.
The Avenor Traditional Council building project will serve as a central hub for traditional administration and cultural activities, boosting local governance and community cohesion. The chiefs and elders expressed gratitude for the timely support, pledging to use the funds judiciously.
