President John Dramani Mahama has clarified his stance on the controversial National Cathedral project, asserting that he harbours no opposition to its construction while raising fundamental concerns over siting, demolition of state assets and deployment of public funds.

The President articulated his position during the Resetting Ghana Citizen Engagement tour in Wa in the Upper West Region, where he addressed a barrage of questions from residents on governance choices, fiscal priorities and respect for public property.
