Prayer That Perseveres

“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” — Romans 12:12 ESV

Some answers are not found in speed. They are found in staying. Persevering prayer is faith that refuses to quit. It is the quiet decision to keep knocking when the door has not opened. “And he
told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart” — Luke 18:1
ESV.

The widow’s persistence moved the judge. Your persistence pleases the Father. Constant prayer
is not long speeches. It is a steady connection. Morning whispers. Midday trust. Night surrender.
It is bringing every worry, every plan, every pain before God again and again until peace settles.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God” — Philippians 4:6 ESV. When you persevere in prayer,
you change. Your heart softens. Your vision clears. Your hands steady. And in God’s timing, the
answer comes, often better than you imagined.

Do not give up before the breakthrough. Keep praying. Keep hoping. Keep trusting. Heaven hears every word.

Prayer:
Lord, teach me to pray and not faint. Make me constant, patient, and thankful in prayer. I will wait
on You, I will trust Your timing, and I will not lose heart. Amen.
