Fatal Crash Near Kpeve Claims Three Lives

Seventeen individuals have been rescued following a fatal road accident along the Kpeve–Asikuma highway, though three persons were confirmed dead at the scene. According to #EwenyigbaTV, the incident occurred at Woadze near Kpeve in the Volta Region on Friday when the Ghana National Fire Service team from the Peki Fire Station responded to a distress call.
Firefighters swiftly mobilized to the crash site, extracting survivors from the wreckage and administering immediate assistance before transferring the injured for medical attention. The operation was described as coordinated and urgent, aimed at mitigating further casualties in the aftermath of the collision. Authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the deceased or the cause of the accident.
The Ghana National Fire Service emphasized the importance of rapid intervention in highway emergencies, noting that timely response often determines survival outcomes. Officials reiterated calls for motorists to exercise heightened caution on the Kpeve–Asikuma stretch, a route known for heavy vehicular movement connecting communities in the region.
