GoldBod, a leading player in Ghana’s gold mining sector, has unveiled an ambitious plan to revolutionize the industry with its GANRAP initiative. According to #3NewsGH, the company’s CEO, Sammy Gyamfi, revealed that the plan is to mop up 2.4 tonnes of small-scale gold and 0.55 tonnes of large-scale gold weekly, generating approximately $400 million in revenue each week, continuing until 2028.
Gyamfi expressed confidence in the company’s ability to achieve its targets, citing the abundance of gold reserves in Ghana and the government’s supportive policies. “We are committed to transforming the gold mining sector and contributing to the country’s economic growth,” he said.
The GANRAP initiative is expected to create employment opportunities for thousands of Ghanaians and increase government revenue through taxes and royalties. GoldBod has already begun implementing the plan, with several projects underway.
According to GoldBod’s CEO, the company is working closely with local communities to ensure that the initiative benefits all stakeholders. The company has also pledged to adhere to best practices in environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
As Ghana continues to solidify its position as a major gold producer, GoldBod’s ambitious plan is expected to have a significant impact on the country’s economy. With its sights set on dominating the gold market, GoldBod is poised to make a major splash in the industry.
