“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” – Ephesians 2:8 WEB

Salvific faith is believing in Jesus Christ for salvation. It’s trusting that He died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, and that He is the only way to God. This faith brings us into a relationship with God, making us His children.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” – Romans 10:9 WEB shows us that salvific faith is about heart belief and confession of Jesus as Lord.

Salvific faith isn’t just intellectual assent; it’s a heart transformation that leads to new life in Christ. Like the thief on the cross who believed in Jesus and was saved (Luke 23:42-43), faith in Jesus brings salvation and eternal life.
