Shatta Wale Declares Love For Stonebwoy At Shattafest Ho

LIVE UPDATES: The Media Can’t Stop Me From Loving Stonebwoy – Shatta Wale stunned fans at Shattafest Ho with a bold declaration. Speaking on stage at the MoMoFest X ShattaFest concert at the Youth Resource Centre, Adaklu on Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Dancehall King told thousands, “The media can’t stop me from loving Stonebwoy.”

The wow moment came when @shattawalenima performed Stonebwoy’s Putuu live. Clad in his signature energy, he delivered the Bhim Nation hit word-for-word as the crowd sang along, turning a former rivalry into a unity anthem. The clip is now trending via @shattawalenima and #ShattafestHo.

Shatta Wale said the Volta Region is his motherland and used the night to honour his roots. He waived entry fees for fans, asking them to show MoMo by MTN and WIRE apps at the gate. Organizers confirmed the festival boosted hotel bookings, transport, and small businesses as thousands trooped to Ho for the Asogli Te Za climax.

The moment is significant. Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have shared Ghana’s biggest rivalry since the 2019 VGMA clash, but also peace moments like Ashaiman To The World 2017. In recent months both have preached unity. Fans described the Putuu performance as proof that Volta giants Edem, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale can stand together.

Videos show Shatta Wale performing from 1AM for almost four hours, mixing On God, My Level and Putuu. Social commentators say the gesture cements ShattaFest Ho as more than a concert — a cultural reset during Asogli Te Za 2026. With MoMoFest partnership and safety protocols from Ghana Entertainment and Tourism Authority, Ho Sports Stadium area witnessed its biggest entertainment crowd yet.
